New Advisory Board Members: Vasily Suvorov and Kristian Bader

Following the official appointment of Philipp Rösler, former German Federal Minister of Health (2009 to 2011) and of Economics and Technology (2011 to 2013), Vice Chancellor, FDP Federal Chairman and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Vasily Suvorov and Kristian Bader join the Advisory Board of CV VC.

In his role as President of the Advisory Board, Philipp is committed to build a bridge to Asia and to be a door opener for CV VC and the Blockchain Nation Switzerland.

Vasily Suvorov (Technology)

Vasily Suvorov is a seasoned Technology Strategist and R&D Leader. As CTO with a history at public, private and start-up technology companies with global presence, he has been driving strategy and R&D efforts related to the major emerging technologies, contributing to Digital Transformation projects in Finance, Telecom, Automotive, Energy, Healthcare and Logistics.

In addition to his deep executive experience, Vasily possesses extensive technical knowledge around intersection of decentralized technologies such as DLTs and Blockchain, Self-Sovereign Identity and Verifiable Credentials, which he sees as the key building blocks for the new stage of the economic development.

He is passionate in helping Society to adopt new technologies and contributes his time to Non-Profit activities and public speaking. In this capacity, he has helped to co-found and grow Swiss non-profit CryptoValley Association, dedicated to fostering and promotion of blockchain technology and de-centralized business models. Vasily is currently a member of the Expert Council at Swiss Blockchain Federation.

Vasily has background in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has studied Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan.

Kristian Bader (Financial Markets)

Kristian Bader has extensive experience as Chief Operations Officer, the majority of which he has gained as a line manager and project manager in companies in the banking and insurance industry. Kristian has profound knowledge of banks and asset managers, their products and services as well as their operational organizations.

In particular, he is also familiar with their regulatory and technological challenges, which are currently changing the financial industry significantly. Kristian has founded and built several companies. His strengths lie in the analysis, design and implementation of organizational structures and processes. He is also passionate about developments in the fields of technology, digitalization and automation. Kristian holds a PhD in Business Administration and Executive Master degrees in Business Law and Art Market Studies.
