We are pleased and honored to welcome Anne Berner and Alex Wassmer as members of the board of CV VC.
Alex Wassmer will be taking on the role of Chairman of the Board. He is the owner, chairman, and CEO of KIBAG Holding AG, one of the leading construction companies in Switzerland. He is also a member of the board of Probst Maveg SA, Crissier. Since 2002, Alex Wassmer has been a member of the board of the «Kunsthalle Foundation» in Bern and a member of the Board of trustees of the art museum in Bern. Alex Wassmer replaces Marco Bumbacher, who continues to perform his operational functions as founder.
Anne-Catherine Berner has also been elected to the Board of Directors. Anne is Finnland’s former Minister for Communications and Transport. In her time as Minister, she has been very active in promoting start-ups and new technology companies. The Finnish entrepreneur with Swiss roots has a strong track record leading Vallila Interior, a family-owned interior design company, where she is now member of the board. She is also a board member of the SEB Group (Bank headquartered in Stockholm).
