Philipp Rösler becomes President of the New Advisory Board of CV VC
CV VC has officially inducted Philipp Rösler, former German Federal Minister of Health (2009 to 2011) and of Economics and Technology (2011 to 2013), Vice Chancellor, FDP Federal Chairman and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF), as the new chair of its Advisory Board. The Zug-based investment firm invests in the most promising blockchain start-ups worldwide and operates both an incubation program for young companies as well as its own ecosystem (which includes events and a co-working space in Zug and in Liechtenstein).
Rösler’s aim is to take CV VC and its innovative investment approach out into the world and anchor the company in Asia. He also sees himself as an ambassador for “Blockchain Nation Switzerland” and Crypto Valley, which — with its progressive regulation, over 900 registered companies and 4700 jobs — is one of the most important blockchain locations in the world. It is planned that the CV VC Advisory Board will further be supplemented by two additional, globally well-connected personalities from the worlds of business and politics.
Rösler is not the only former top politician involved with CV VC. The board of directors includes former Swiss Minister of Economics and President Johann N. Schneider-Ammann and Anne Berner, former Finnish Minister of Transport and Communications. CV VC is chaired by Alex Wassmer, CEO and President of Kibag AG.
