Switzerland, 1 May 2020: CV Labs Switzerland announces a strategic relationship with Binarystar, a blockchain focused Business Hub in Tokyo, Japan.

The international partnership will connect the respective partner’s ecosystem members, thereby providing startups access to facilities and networks offered by both hubs. This access will foster the connection of the startups with investors, corporations, legal & financial professionals and a range of service providers on a global level.

Junya Yamamoto, CEO Binarystar, stated;

“We are delighted to be partnering with CV Labs, which is actively working on the blockchain incubation business globally from Switzerland.

We hope that this partnership will lead to the revitalization and further engagement of Japanese startups in the future.

By leveraging the strengths of both parties, this alliance aims to create new business opportunities that will lead to growth not only in Japan but also in the Asian and global markets that Binarystar has always been an active player.“

The two hubs will collaborate on various initiatives to expand their global networks within the blockchain industry. The initiatives will range from co-organizing events, talks, seminars to training programs and mentorship.

Nicolai Reinbold, Ecosystem and Incubation Manager CV Labs, states;

“I am delighted to partner with Binarystar and to be able to support entrepreneurs from Japan. I think it is crucial to provide startups opportunities to leverage other regional ecosystems, so they can grow and flourish most efficiently.

As such, I am looking forward to working together with our new partner and to collaborate by organizing joint initiatives, such as events or training programs.”

The Goals of the Partnership in a Nutshell:

  • Helping startups to set foot in both ecosystems having access to investors, a place to work abroad and the possibility to connect with the local industry.
  • Startups have the possibility to apply for a blockchain dedicated incubator or startup training programs in the two regions.
  • Giving investors access to projects out of their ecosystem and get to know other funds.
  • Giving first-hand insights to companies about upcoming events with access to sponsoring opportunities.
  • The two hubs will co-create new projects (such as events or similar) to build a bridge between the ecosystems.
