Mentoring Release Postponed For 7 Days

We’d like to thank our community and supporters for everyone’s involvement in the recent successful launch of CyBall game, which has had an overwhelmingly positive reception, as well as the smooth launch of our rewards and utility token $CBT.
As a quick recap, we now have 34,000 accounts signed up, close to 8,000 daily active users, with over 840,000 matches played and over 6,000,000 $CBT earned to date.
Everyone is eager for the next major milestone for CyBall, being the introduction of our Mentoring System, and in particular, the Genesis Mentoring Phase (first 5 days of Mentoring).
Today, we would like to inform our community that the CyBall team has made the decision to push back the release of our Mentoring feature by one week (7 days) to the 22nd of March. This decision was made to give the team an extra week to perfect and fine tune the commencement of mentoring including creating more CyBloc parts for Season 1, as well as to make sure the Genesis Mentoring period is as streamlined as possible for lenders and borrowers who are using CyLoans.
To expand on the second point above, at the start of the Genesis Mentoring Phase, we will be updating the game’s backend, CyLoans’ frontend and backend, together with our Mentoring and CyLoans (v1) smart contracts to:
- Remove the 5-day mentoring cooldown
- Remove CyLoans 24Hour recall timelock
- Remove level resets
- Prefill the same (historical) whitelist and rewards splits % data after lenders recall / cancel a CyBloc. Essentially, once a user is done with mentoring and wants to whitelist / lend the same CyBlocs to the same borrowers as before, he/she can simply click “List” without the need to fill in the same data all over again.
After the Genesis Mentoring Phase (i.e. on Day 6 onwards after the release of Mentoring), the mentoring cooldown, CyLoans timelock and level reset (first 3 points above) will be reinstated.
