Recap: DCentral Miami in Nov 2021
After the successful offline debut at NFT BUSAN conference, we immediately worked on the next event, DCentral Miami 2021 and Art Basel Miami Beach. Cyber Galz can’t be left out of this wonderful event where so many Crypto and NFT-loving friends gather up.
Once fixing our event plan in just two weeks, we headed to Miami right away. It was a long flight and our team was exhausted even before we started our schedule. But excitement about meeting new friends conquered our fatigues from jetlag.
We are here, Miami! We didn’t have enough time to enjoy Miami as we needed to get to work. We went to a bar to enjoy the vibe there, met a bunch of friends, bought them drinks, etc. Along our way to the hotel, we found a Bitcoin ATM machine across the street from the hotel. It was cool to finally see it in our eyes. Wow, Bitcoin was $55,814 back then. Sheesh.
The first thought that came to our mind was Miami weather being incredible. We couldn’t wait till we saw the well-known beautiful scenery of Miami beach. Yes, we came here for work, snatching some opportunities, and making a lot of friends in the crypto industry, but how could we resist the beautiful beach of Miami? Like we always say: “If it’s not fun, it’s not worth doing it”
After having fun, it was time for us to move on to downtown for the DCentral Miami 2021. Actually, we considered opening a booth as we did at NFT BUSAN, but we made a decision that it would be better to host our own party instead. Setting up a booth would have been awesome, but we wanted to meet lots of new friends and hang around.
At the conference, we met many crypto maximalists and influencers including the famous Axie Sisters. Our creator, Jak-ka is a huge fan of them and couldn’t hide his excitement to finally meet them in person. We enjoyed networking with people from many projects that we are familiar with. Since the conference was held in the city well known for being the capital of cryptocurrency, the experience there was way beyond our expectations.
Luckily, we also got the chance to have a live drawing show on the wall. There were so many people watching, so Jak-ka was a bit shy for a moment. Nevertheless, it was great to leave a footprint of Galz at the centre of the wall 😊
Cyber Galz team was invited to a party hosted by Nicky of BitMart. She kindly invited us to the party at the conference. It was a huge party. After this one, we headed to TEFI after party. So many parties were going around throughout the night! No wonder Miami is known as the city of fun.

Speaking of fun, we can’t leave our own party out, can we? Yes, “the awesome Galz party”
We decided to host our party at the best taco bar in Miami. The place was packed with people even on the weekdays! You should definitely check out this place if you ever go to Miami. I’ve never had better burritos and margaritas in my life.
A lot of Galz fam showed up! Some of them were already in our Discord channel. It was so exciting to have a chat with them in person in real life. As a show of appreciation to party participants, the OG role was given as a thank-you gift.
