Artyom

Back in ‘144, Artyom was at the top of his military career as a Commando in the Russian Symbiote Containment Unit (RSCU), which specializes in infiltrating corrupted networks and retrieving stolen symbtech. RSCU members were constantly trying to take his position, either by leveraging their political influence or using brute physical force. Their attempts only left them getting assassinated or annihilated by Artyom’s superior fighting skills.

Fall from Grace

While delivering prisoners to the Siberian containment facility, his superior officer Stronat challenged his position as Commando, forcing Artyom to kill him and leave his body in the permafrost wastelands of Siberia. Without any witnesses to what happened, Artyom had only two choices: to die in the Siberian wilderness or get thrown into the containment facility. Being an honorable man, he accepted his fate and went to serve his time.

A Chance at Freedom

Surviving in the facility wasn’t exactly easy for Artyom, as it was filled with prisoners he put in containment along with guards who despised him for murdering his superior — every single one of them wanted to tear off his flesh. Struggling to survive for almost 10 years in the frozen deathtrap, he was finally summoned to fight in the Cyber Arena for a chance at redemption. Artyom is ready to wreak havoc in the arena and crush anyone standing between him and his freedom.
