What is Lyber?

Imagine investing in the Paypal of crypto. Lyber is aiming to become just that! It will be the first European-regulated neobank that specializes in cryptocurrencies. The platform’s focus is to make it easy to buy, sell, send, and spend cryptocurrencies through their reliable and regulated mobile application.

With a fun and simple design, Lyber presents itself as the front-end for decentralized finance. It will have the cheapest fees (0.5% vs 1–3%) in the robust European crypto market before expanding their reach globally.

Lyber aims to make crypto accessible to the masses through the development of a number of innovative technologies:

Providing users with the best possible price on the market through a liquidity aggregator that incorporates pairs on the biggest CEXs such as Binance, FTX, and Huobi.
Sending crypto to friends, family, business associates through email and phone number integration
Spending crypto as you would fiat by linking a debit card to your account

Lyber will have the top 20 cryptocurrencies available to trade on their platform at launch, but will look to quickly expand their offerings with a special focus on Solana-based projects.

$LYB token is designed as the backbone of the Lyber ecosystem. It will have a fixed supply of 500 million tokens and an initial market capitalization of $1.25 million USD.

Fee discounts: stakers will enjoy up to 50% off on platform fees
Staking rewards: earn up to 21% APY on your stake depending on your tier
LYB rebuy and burn: Lyber will purchase and burn LYB with 33% of commissions received by the platform
Referral fees: refer your friends and colleagues and earn up to 20% of the fees they spend on the platform
IEO access: Lyber will eventually offer IEOs which will be exclusive to LYB stakers.

Participation on Samurai

The Lyber private-round is open to CFi stakers in the Emperor (10k $CFi) and Shogun (3k $CFi) tiers. The sale will be live on Samurai on February 7, 11:00am UTC.

Eligible stakers can purchase LYB in allotments between $500 BUSD and $5,000 BUSD at a private-round price of $0.0625 per LYB.

Tokens purchased at in the private-round are subject to vesting with 5% unlocked at TGE followed by a 6-month cliff and linear vesting for 22 months.
