We’re just two weeks away from Thanksgiving (for those of us in the US), the NFT market feels like it’s heating up again, and our Kongz are staying as busy as ever.
Over the last week, the littles was announced as the first-ever Kongz Tank selection, we were introduced to the strange and exciting world of Untamed Isles, long-awaited CyberKongz merch was announced, and so much more!
Before we get started on another crazy week in our Kongiverse, I just want to remind you that this newsletter is written for all of you Kongz. So, if you have any topics you want to be added or have any suggestions, just let me know!

Kongz Tank Reminder: Deadline November 22
As another friendly reminder, the final deadline for Kongz Tank is November 22, 12:00 am UTC!
We already announced our first Kongz Tank selection, so make sure to get your applications in if you haven’t done so already!

As a reminder, we’re looking for project ideas on how you will integrate CyberKongz NFTs and/or $BANANA with your project and this is what the Council of Kongz would like to see in the proposal:
- Detailed rundown on your project/idea.
- How you want to integrate CyberKongz NFTS and/or $BANANA.
- Your art/dev skills and experience in the NFT/crypto space.
- Contact details (email, discord username, Twitter, website if any, etc..)
Project submissions to the Kongz Tank are open to all, so if you or your friends are not part of our CyberKongz fam yet, you can all still apply!
If you’ve already submitted your proposal, don’t worry either. The Council of Kongz will continue to announce proposals already selected, so keep a lookout for updates.
The selected projects will receive the following:
- Grant: A grant of 10 ETH + 1,000 $BANANA.
- Marketing: The team will provide marketing support within their reach.
- Linear Unlock of Funds: Grant funds will be unlocked based on project development stages: 10% for a detailed idea, 40% with a working prototype, 50% with a working project.
Important: Conditions of Project
The project needs to introduce utility for one of the assets from the CyberKongz universe and/or $BANANA.
Burn mechanics may be used for the Banana Token but can’t be applied to the CyberKongz or CyberKongz VX NFTs!
First-Ever Kongz Tank Project — the littles!
Speaking of the littles, let’s give them a huge round of !oohs and bananas. They went through our arduous Kongz Tank application process, went face to face with our alpha Kongz and came out victorious as the first-ever Kongz Tank selection!
The project is being built by an extremely talented team led by our own Genesis Kong @wilxlee.
He was inspired to create this project by his little daughter who is almost 3. After observing her every interaction he realized how much fun, joy, and innocence she had in everything she did, which reminded Wil of his own carefree days as a kid. Like most of us, as he got older life was filled with more and more responsibilities until NFTs brought back that same feeling, energy, and curiosity he had when he was little.
Having experienced this first hand, he wanted to bring to the world a project that can be fun, magical, and more importantly a way for people to find their inner little self again.
Not only are the littles cute as a button, one of the coolest parts is what we know about their potential $BANANA utility so far. When the littles eat $BANANA, they will evolve into a new NFT with unique kong-like traits and are already planning additional utility for holders including:
- Bonus yield for $BANANA evolved NFTs
- $BANANA weapon store
- $BANANA bonus gameplay
Personally speaking, I’m hoping my little evolves into one with a propeller hat as that’s always been one of my favorite traits. I’m also curious how cute things like these will use weapons, but we’ll just have to wait in anticipation to see what happens 🤔
I also think this is a great time for us to take a step back and look at this initial Kongz Tank selection from a broader perspective.
Not only are we being introduced to a well-thought-out project with great potential, but it also marks an important point in CyberKongz history where projects outside the CyberKongz ecosystem are planning to use $BANANA tokens within their ecosystem too.
Winners Crowned for CyberKongz VX Halloween Art Contest
After a long-anticipated wait, we voted and announced the winner of the CyberKongz VX Halloween Art Contest on November 12. The art submissions we received this time were insane and it really just showed just how talented and creative our Kongmunity is.
In total there were 9 finalists and from these finalists, we saw Kongz battling evil Ethers, undead Kongz dancing to Michael Jackson, video footage of mysterious events at Neo Kongz Hospital, a Squid Games-inspired scene, and much more.
To top it off, the Council of Kongz rained down bananas as they always do and 1,000 bananas were sent to the participants as a thank you for all their efforts.

CyberKongz Classic Collection by Uniqly Launch
Wen merch, wen merch, wen merch is now!!
On Tuesday, November 16 at 4 pm UTC the new CyberKongz Classic NFT Streetwear collection is launching on Uniqly.io, and we finally get the CyberKongz hoodies that we’ve been foaming at the mouth for.
It’s also the first CyberKongz merch drop to accept $BANANA as payment.
The collection itself includes 5 different designs and is limited to 220 pieces each.
What’s cool and unique about this collection when compared to the previous drop is that each item can be claimed IRL without burning the NFT. Each item also has a scannable NFC Tag that can be scanned to prove authenticity, plus future utility to use the items in AR and the Metaverse is also coming.
Non-NFT backed merch is also dropping in the future too so if you don’t have enough $BANANA for this drop or if you don’t care for the NFT aspect of it, you can always wait for this collection too!
Lastly, as a friendly reminder, if you consider yourself a CyberKongz merch aficionado at all, don’t forget about the OG of all CyberKongz merch, the limited edition Myoo Shirt.
In August, 250 Myoo shirts were released in partnership with Uniqly to celebrate the launch of our CyberKongz VX. The difference with this shirt is that in order to claim it IRL you have to burn the attached NFT.
Because of these deflationary mechanics, there aren’t too many listed for sale, but if you’re interested you can still find them on OpenSea.
Untamed Isles x CyberKongz Partnership

Don’t say I didn’t warn you but…the Council of Kongz continues to deliver week in and week out for all of us, don’t they?
This week, another huge partnership was announced and this time it’s with Untamed Isles, a beautiful and expansive MMORPG with Zelda Breath of the Wild aesthetics and a monster battling mechanic that is like Pokemon on steroids.
If you haven’t done so already, make sure to give this article published in our CyberKongz Medium and the Guppy Gang litepaper a read as it covers everything you need to know about this partnership and project in detail.
If visuals are more of your thing, our good friend CAGYJAN also created a super helpful video explaining the partnership in detail too.
One of the first games I ever got was Pokemon Red Version. I still vividly remember hiding under my covers with a flashlight to squeeze in those extra hours and how thrilling it was to find and capture Mew Two with only an Ultra Ball.
More recently, in my good old pre-NFT days I spent countless hours inside the Kingdom of Hyrule finding Koroks, exploring the Divine Beasts, and taking down Ganon.
After digging into the Untamed Isles concept, gameplay, ecosystem, and how they plan to fully integrate with CyberKongz and our $BANANA ecosystem, I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership.
More importantly, Phat Loot Studios (the studio behind Untamed Isles) is taking a hybrid “game first, crypto second” approach which will make it much more accessible and easier to onboard gamers who are not familiar with crypto.
Now, let’s get into the most interesting and exciting aspect of this partnership, the full integration with CyberKongz!
All holders of CyberKongz will be able to play in Untamed Isles without needing to purchase additional NFTs. CyberKongz VX will be directly usable in-game and for our CyberKongz 2D (Genesis and Baby Kongz), the team plans to work on low polygon models.
We will also have a custom-designed and exclusive Kongz themed island to hang out in and the $BANANA token will be used in a variety of ways. Here are some of the $BANANA utility that might be possible with more to come:
- Purchase of cosmetic NFTS exclusive to CyberKongz.
- Exclusive $BANANA Hodl airdrops of custom items and cosmetic NFTs with rarity levels dependent on the quantity of $BANANA we hold in our wallet.
- A $BANANA shop in the game launcher (client) for purchasing items.
- Tournament entries can be purchased with $BANANA.
Additional Guppy Gang NFT Holder Benefits
What’s cool about how this partnership is structured is that you can also receive additional benefits from holding a Guppy Gang NFT that is separate from the integration benefits of our CyberKongz assets.
Not only will you receive a future airdrop for holding both a CyberKongz and a Guppy Gang NFT in your wallet, but you will also get the following utility:
- Monthly Guppy Paradise Fair Ticket Airdrop: Each month the Guppy Paradise Fair will open to all players and to participate you will need fair tickets. Guppy Gang NFT holders will receive guaranteed fair tickets each month that can be used for the fair games.
- Guppy Doodle: Each Guppy NFT will have the ability to create its own AI-generated artwork through user input. The artwork can be minted as its own NFT, traded, and displayed in your Untamed Isles home.

STart Art Gallery was a Kongish Success
Thanks again to our good friends at STart Art Gallery for organizing such a lovely CyberKongz exhibit and for helping us introduce our Kongz family to a wider audience in Hong Kong!
The CyberKongz Gallery at STart Art Gallery in Hong Kong ended on November 15 and it was the place to be over the last week.
All of our CyberKongz on display were looking sexy, CyberKongz themed coffee was served, IRL bananas were flying, and the gallery even held a live Zoom meeting with our favorite EddyisKongz. Plus, our little 3D-printed VX Myoo Kong was found popping up in random places all throughout Hong Kong.
The exhibition was not just a celebration of the artwork by the legendary Myoo, but it was also an important reminder of just how international our CyberKongz family has become.

WSK in Review: Lessons in the Deep Dark Corner of WSK Shitcoins Talk
Disclaimer: Before we get started, heed this warning. Shitcoins aren’t for the faint of heart. All coins traded in WSK Shitcoins Talk are actual shit and most, if not all will go to 0. When trading these coins, consider your ETH burned the moment it leaves your wallet.
Buckle in ladies and gents because I have one hell of a story for you.
Late at night on November 8, I was relaxing in the pristine trading rooms of Wall Street Kongz with a freshly brewed cup of tea catching up on the latest in NFT trading news. The NFT markets have been slow, so I was taking it all in, reminiscing about the crazier times from just a few months ago. Plus, the Galaxy Fight Club Genesis Key Collection launch was coming up so I was deep in research.
Then I heard shouts coming from the deep dark recesses in Wall Street Hall. They weren’t just normal shouts either but an intense mixture of euphoric screams of joy and horrific bellows of rektness.
The noise from this dark, grungy, sweat-infused corner of WSK kept on getting louder and louder and I knew I had to go to the infamous shitcoins trading room to see for myself what was happening.
And you won’t believe what I saw when I entered this world of extreme degeneracy.
Instead of people saying a cheery GM to me, it was $GM. Not frens here, but $FREN. GN? More like $GN. Not “probably nothing”, but $PN. NFA — you guessed it, $NFA. My brain was swimming with this new class of cultural Web3 meme tokens as I saw eye-watering, adrenaline-pumping gains and gut-wrenching losses into honeypots in the span of minutes, not even hours.
What I heard was real. If 1 day in NFT world = 1 week in the normal world, then 1 day in the shitcoins world = an eternity.
Out of the chaos, a couple of true favorites emerged: $GM, $GN, and $Fren.
I can confirm, the rumors are true. All of them, $GM, $GN, and $FREN, were called super early in the Degen dungeon of shitcoin talk (2 of them by Wizard of Soho), and for those Kongz who bravely went in and were early, they were awarded breathtaking riches.
With that said, I’m not going to go over the actual gains or losses in these shitcoins as I typically do with our NFT trades. The reason being is that although there were big gains to be made if you were early, the same isn’t true if you got in even a few hours late.
Let’s just say there were lucky Kongz who made enough profit to sweep a few Baby Kongz and maybe a Genesis Kong, but there were also those with big losses who swore off the forbidden fruit of WSK shitcoins talk forever.
Shitcoin Lessons to Keep in Mind
For all of you that missed out on any shitcoin gains, just keep these important lessons in mind while seeing others announce their new riches:
- Understand your trading style. If you’re more of a long-term holder, shitcoins are probably not for you. However, if you like to trade and you have money to lose, it can definitely be worth a try.
- Shitcoins talk is filled with coins that are literal shit. 99% of the tokens traded here go to 0. Many Kongz lost a significant amount of ETH and only some were lucky enough to hit a winner to recover.
- There will 100% be another opportunity. Just remember the FOMO after missing Loot, only to have Anonymice and CrypToadz come out a few weeks after.
- Don’t forget that with shitcoins, you have to pay gas fees, cap gains, and token tax (if the token has a tax), which can eat into profit (if any).
Out of all these lessons, what’s most important to keep in mind is that timing the market is difficult, and for many of us, the best trade might be to buy and hold quality NFTs or ETH for a longer duration of time.
Shitcoins, NFTs, and bigger cap crypto like BTC and ETH all have their cycles. When the NFT market is slower and ETH and BTC are moving sideways, there might be more volume in shitcoins as people will try to chase gains somewhere.
However, when the NFT market or ETH heats up again (as seems to be the case with NFTs), the volume will shift back to NFTs or ETH leaving most, if not all, shitcoin bags behind. If you were one of the talented traders who were able to rotate profits from shitcoins into NFTs or ETH, you’re sitting pretty.
However, if you’re a mere mortal like many of us, you’re now not only in the red but may not have been able to capitalize on blue-chip NFTs when they were on sale.
