Applications for Cybersecurity Factory are now open! The program dates are 6/11/18–8/17/18. We will accept applications on a rolling basis until 3/15/18 at 11:59 EST, so apply early!

We have had three successful summers. Our alumni have worked on ideas ranging from blockchain payments to endpoint security and open-source compliance. After the summer, they have raised follow-on funding from top investors, such as Morgan Stanley, Underscore VC, Highland, Notation Capital, and Intel Capital.

The support for our program continues to grow as we are constantly adding high-quality security mentors, who work very closely with our summer teams. We are again collaborating with Highland Capital Partners to empower early stage startups to tackle the complex security problems facing many enterprises. Our 10-week program provides the following:

  • Access to our diverse group of dedicated cybersecurity mentors, including executives and leaders from Akamai, Rapid7, Cybereason, Imprivata, Qualys, and Veracode
  • Venture advice from a Highland Capital partner
  • Office space in Cambridge, MA in the Highland Capital office
  • $35,000 investment as a generous convertible note

During the summer, each team will work closely with our mentors and potential customers to produce a marketable security product. To better understand the Cybersecurity Factory summer experience, here are some stories from our program alumni: Gitlinks, Commonwealth Crypto (recently raised 1.5M!), NeuroMesh, Pixm, and Stealthmine (formerly Aikicrypt).

Finally, we would like to thank our generous sponsors: our banking partner Comerica, our legal partner Latham and Watkins, and corporate partners Akamai, Rapid7, Imprivata, and Cybereason for their continued support and mentorship.

If you are a pre-series A security company and want to spend the summer with us, please apply here!
