WASHINGTON, June 19, 2019 — CYBR, the Virginia-based company that’s reshaping blockchain security efforts, is now approved to work with SecurityScorecard as a license holder and reseller. SecurityScorecard, often considered the “gold standard” for security ratings, is used across 175 countries for cybersecurity insurance underwriting, M&A due diligence, reputation management and vendor risk management.

“Integrating SecurityScorecard into our cyber security solutions platform allows CYBR to provide the world with a snapshot of the security posture of global exchanges, wallets and infrastructure in near real-time,” says CYBR founder Shawn Key. “I believe this integration will ultimately prevent companies and individuals from losing billions of dollars to hackers. I am very pleased that SecurityScorecard recognizes the disruptive nature of CYBR and is now part of our ecosystem. The combination of our technologies will be a game-changer in the world of blockchain security.”

SecurityScorecard has been in the news recently for closing a $50 million USD Series D fundraising round led by Riverwood Capital. SecurityScorecard boasts that they’ve provided security ratings to more than 1 million companies since launching in 2018.

The CYBR Ecosystem is made up of multiple proprietary systems which protect the integrity of smart contract transactions, recognize and neutralize threats, and identify security flaws in almost any IP-enabled device. When combined, these components provide a state-of-the-art cybersecurity suite that can learn and adapt to new threats and vulnerabilities. As more industries begin to make use of private and public blockchain technology, the need for CYBR’s security solutions is expected to grow exponentially.
