Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, depending on where you live in this world! As you may know, our world is suffering from excessive carbon release. Here is a graph indicating a huge increase in greenhouse gas emissions in Korea:

Entrepreneurs around the world, such as Elon Musk of Tesla, are trying to implement eco-friendly technologies. Why though? Is green technology profitable? Is that why these great entrepreneurs are developing it? Not always. Developing green technology consumes a lot of time, effort, and money. However, CyClean is committed to clean energy, and that is why CyClean is putting in its resources into developing this technology. Additionally, CyClean’s hardware plugin allows existing products to function as mining devices, and this makes CyClean a very profitable project.

Now, governments around the world are willing to support these green endeavors. Let’s see how the South Korean government is helping companies embrace green technology.

The South Korean government started to pay attention to green energy in 2009 when it announced its Five-year Plan for Green Growth to promote a national green growth strategy. As a result, South Korea became one of the first countries to include green growth in its national development strategy. The government vowed to invest 85 billion USD in clean energy technologies to create over one million new jobs and bolster a clean technology industry. The current government also decided to increase South Korea’s dependence on renewable energy for all energy needs from 2.4 percent in 2011 to over 11 percent by 2030. The Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS), mandatory usage of renewable energy for public buildings, the One Million Green Homes Project, and green car development are some of the government’s plans that are underway.

This graph shows that the share of renewable energy in Korea increases every year. It is very positive to see this share increase, but we need a more dramatic increase of this number.

But the good news is that both the public and private sectors are taking this environmental problem seriously. Both of them are trying to increase their investments in environmental protection.

The environment is neither a private nor public issue. It is a human issue, and CyClean is really happy to take part in this great movement.
