Cyclotron Road alumni Etosha Cave, Kendra Kuhl, and Nicholas Flanders, cofounders of Opus 12, were recently highlighted in Rolling Stone’s 2017 Future Issue (pictured at left), which celebrates “25 visionaries, revolutionaries, entrepreneurs and disrupters … in politics, economics, tech, science, agriculture, medicine and more.” Congratulations to Opus 12 for this exciting coverage of their efforts to bring carbon dioxide utilization to market.

“We have been keeping a low profile during our technology development phase but when Rolling Stone reached out about this recognition, it was an opportunity that we could not pass up,” said Flanders, Opus 12’s CEO.

In addition to being a great honor, the list — which includes Tesla founder Elon Musk, US Senator Kamala Harris, and a number of other celebrity luminaries — is the highest profile and most suitable use to date for Opus 12’s iconic “album cover” photograph, taken from the patio of Berkeley Lab’s Molecular Foundry.
