Celo Joins Several Organizations to Write Letter on Climate Change
“Yesterday, the Celo Foundation, along with @weareflowcarbon and @clim8collective, submitted an open letter to @WHOSTP on the energy and climate implications of digital assets,” said a May 10 tweet from Celo. The letter addressed to the Office of the Whtie house Science and Technology Policy addresses climate change and offers to collaborate with the government to talk about the implications of technology and climate change. The Celo Foundation Grants Program has funded over 320 projects and can now add projects like Cobru, a digital wallet and local gateway that supports international remittances and fintech companies under Cash In Cash Out/ Wallets and Athena Protocol, a decentralized accreditation organization for environmental & social governance to that list!
