Closing out the first UNBEATABLE Art Contest!

Last month, we invited the DISCORD-CELL GAMES community to participate in the UNBEATABLE Fan Art Contest — which featured over 35+ submissions!
To close it off, the team is excited to reveal our five favorites of the contest! Our top five have just received specially colored roles on our Discord.
So without further ado, here they are!
Fireseal
The coloring and expressions are bubbly and so much fun, and that alone makes Fireseal’s piece an unanimous pick from everyone at the team!

Rokdoll
We’re in love with Rokdoll’s incredible renditions of both Beat and Quaver. The dynamic between the two is a really important part of the game, and this piece really nails that on all fronts. Those halftones look great too!

Foxtrotyy
The atmosphere is off the charts with Foxtrotty’s submission! He nailed the quiet, mellowed half of our game’s aesthetic with a lot of really strongly composed pieces, sync’d to “homework salad by night”.

Tofumang
The team was particularly wow’d by the incredible fish-eyed lens perspective and Tofumang’s stunning shading work. The background is flowing with detail and Beat & Quaver look amazing.
Tofumang wasn’t just one of our top 5, but also discord-cell games’ community choice winner for the contest with over 200+ votes! Congratulations!

Sailor Yon
Animation is *tough* to do, but several members in our community took the challenge to huge heights with animated shorts, and Sailor Yon’s final work is nothing short of impressive, nailing the vibe of that very old MAGFest teaser we did back in 2019!
