You won’t know until you try.

This morning I experimented with B&W using some flowers from the garden. I don’t do much B&W photography but I decided to go out and play around a little.

The above is a close-up of a crocus flower. A few patches of them sprung up in our front garden a week or so ago to remind us that Spring is almost here! Almost…!

I had been eyeing up these flowers for a couple of days, wanting to take a shot. But I was nervous and thought “eh, how good will it be”. Self-doubt.

In the end you just gotta go.

Go outside.

Experiment.

Fail.

Succeed.

Have fun.
