“Just do It”

I bet most of you are familiar with Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign. In 1998, the iconic slogan, “Just Do It” became a worldwide phenomenon and has evolved over time as a mantra for those who want to do things. For many of us, these words have serve as a reminder that to be able to start and finish something that one may found worth doing, one just have to roll out his or her sleeve and just start doing it.

No need to overthink nor to set up an elaborate ritual before starting. It is by defining one’s priorities and identifying those undertaking that makes the soul stir and goes a-ha! or one which makes that tiny weeny heart, pit-pat.

Get involved in any work or undertaking that makes you glad to be alive. Find that inner voice and be with people who truly believe in you and would gladly help you out to be out there, doing what you love.

Then you can “just do it.”

Work could become more meaningful and fun. Sure, there are times when it can be daunting but one in which you will gladly do because it matters.

The proverbial ‘eat the frog’ reminder works best in condition where there is enough inner strength to hurdle those first set of words. To be just there, doing what one should be doing.

To be never afraid to ask help nor receive any feedback.

Just Do It. Over and over again until it becomes as normal as breathing.

Until readers catches up on your work.

Until you make yourself glad to be doing what you are putting out there.

Remind oneself to do better than yesterday and do it.
