Doki Doki has launched a campaign to grow to 100,000 users in 100 days, while maintaining community standards and user safety. Dabel allows users to host live audio streams that anyone can listen to, or even join the conversation.

Dabel CEO Takahito Iguchi talking about how audio social network Dabel is evolving

Dabel currently has over 40,000 users with users spending an average of over 50 minutes a day on the app. Community management and user safety have been top priorities in Dabel, as they implemented features like a block button for problematic users and a way to directly contact the Dabel through the app.

“The users who joined early on will be crucial in establishing an open and inclusive culture.” Doki Doki CEO, Taka Iguchi says. “Exclusivity causes more problems than benefits for users. We want to grow an inclusive community where people truly feel comfortable to speak their minds without being abused or disrespected.”

Dabel’s unique voice streaming platform lets users create their own live audio stream on any topic, interest, format, or style. In Dabel streams hosts can open up the conversation and invite listeners to also talk in the stream.

“It’s not a matter of wanting an open place to talk, I think people need a place now to have their voices heard and have their opinions respected,” says Iguchi.
