What is the purpose of your advertising campaign?

Some people run ads to increase the awareness of their products or services, while others target sales, lead generation, or app downloads, focusing on conversion. Because of this, it has become mainstream for advertising platforms to leverage machine learning and AI to help advertisers achieve their goals by maximizing clicks or optimizing conversions.

Dable has been dedicating considerable effort toward improving conversion optimization. Last year, we introduced Smart Bidding, and there has been many upgrades behind the scenes to enhance conversion optimization. However, there is still room for improvement.

Let’s try a quiz.

If a campaign’s average CPA dropped from $12 to $10, can it be considered a success?

Certainly, a reduction in the average CPA compared to before is a positive change. But if the advertiser’s target CPA was $8, the results might still not be satisfactory. In such cases, it might be necessary to focus on media or audiences that could drive the average cost per conversion below $8, even if it means reducing spending.

Just as in the example above, knowing the target CPA that an advertiser or campaign is aiming for allows for more flexibility in bidding adjustments to optimize conversions.

This is why Dable has recently started accepting ‘Target CPA’ inputs. If you’re managing many campaigns, or if all campaigns have the same objectives, entering a target CPA for each can be cumbersome. Therefore, we have added the option “Account Target CPA” which allows advertisers to set them easily.

It is not a complicated concept, but there are a few things to remember.

<Campaign Management — Account Target CPA Setting Menu>

  1. Set an ‘Account Target CPA’ once, and individual campaigns can follow this set value.
  2. When you wish to change the target CPA, you can easily adjust the target CPA value across several campaigns using the ‘Account Target CPA’ when those campaigns are following the account level value.
  3. However, the target CPA values explicitly set for individual campaigns will not be affected even if the Account Target CPA is changed.

Setting the ‘Account Target CPA’ and ‘Campaign-level Target CPA’, can lead to better optimization of your campaigns. At Dable, we are constantly improving conversion optimization technology to help you achieve your target CPAs and ensure the success of all our advertisers!

If you have any questions about the new features, please contact your account manager or reach out via the official Dable email for more detailed assistance.
