Amalia who is charge of Indonesia market, “I wish to Dable be the №1 player in the global market”
Amalia is in charge of Dable’s Indonesia market. She is an expert of digital marketing industry. She has worked at United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Bhinneka.Com, iProperty.com etc. for many years.
What brings you to Dable?
I found Dable on LinkedIn. Dable’s service was a solution I used to look for when I was working with UNICEF, but unfortunately at that time this kind of service was not available yet in Indonesia or perhaps not too familiar in the market. Basically I explored Dable’s background before deciding to join and found out more information to ensure whether the company is legitimate or not through the interview process.
What is your role in Dable?
I’m in charge of Indonesia market as a Global Business Manager. While much of my experience has been in digital and marketing industries, I understand the social value from various sector would be an asset to the company. Experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with all departments in-and-out organization. With that valuable experience I would like to give my best contribution in expanding Dable service into Indonesian market.
What about Indonesia’s digital advertisement?
E-commerce player is currently increasing from time to time in Indonesia. Most digital advertising services and tools are more to programmatic ads as Criteo, Sociomantic. Native ads services start to grow, but there are no significant player at the moment; the eminence of Dable service is combining native ads with recommendation solution; which none of Indonesian player has this.
How does it feel to work at Dable?
I’ve been working with a Korean company previously (XL Planet) and they have a really good work ethic and know how to measure and achieve their goal. It’s fun and challenging working at Dable. I have no issues in communication with all team and department so far, but I must admit the tools used in Dable sometimes confuses me (Trello, evernote, slack). But I think it’s just a matter of time to adjust.
What is your goal in Dable?
To be the most successful Indonesian representative in introducing and mastering Content Discovery Platform and successfully expanding Dable’s business in the market. I wish Dable to be the number 1 player in the global market.
