Look What We Found!

2 am, last night. The subway took hours to arrive. We got off at W4th Street, and all of a sudden it felt like we had hit some sort of limbo. Where were all the ads or sneakers or caffeinated beverages or whatever advertisers think is going to sell to people rushing to work or home?

Instead of billboards we found this:

It’s hard to believe that these are random configurations produced by happenstance while stripping away layers of ads. The compositions are way too cool.

And then there is “nothingness”, which was obviously created by an anonymous artist in situ. What artists do they remind you of?
