Rising Star: Otro Captore

Otro Captore is the nom d’artiste of Susana Riveros, an accomplished Chilean artist whom we are lucky to have in DADA. When an artist starts drawing on DADA it amazes us how we can see a progression and discern a personal style as well as an artistic journey. In Otro’s case, it is wonderful to see how she can master different styles that are unmistakably her own. We have a feeling that artists love responding to her drawings because they are so inspiring.

Her latest contributions to DADA are lighthearted and minimalistic:

Yet always poetic.

But she also does intensely detailed and expressive work. Her experience with engraving, which she studied in Paris, is evident in the following drawings.
