Dance, learn and sweat with my virtual pals on Daency.

Today, Daency has crossed another milestone! We launch our service to host up to 9 people in a room for small groups of friends to share joy beyond a pair. We refreshed our challenge — “Your daily dose of dance”, which will become an evergreen playlist supplying everyone’s favorite exercise type non-stop: dance fitness to great music.

Right before Thanksgiving this year, we unveiled “Daency beta” to friends and family and organized a fitness challenge. Many participated and logged more than 4000 exercise minutes in just a few days. We declared winners (including a tie) of the challenge and made new friends. From our beta, we have confirmed people’s passion for sharable dance fitness workouts, and make a larger plan to offer the best experience in this genre.

I want to thank the entire Daency team for this release. I want to also give banner photo credits to two of Daency’s founding interns: Milinda Dzhayamakha and Lia Yue. Milinda is a talented economics graduate student, who helped with Daency’s marketing, and is also an avid K-pop dancer (instagram). Lia is a rising product designer, who helped with Daency’s design, and also a Hip Hop lover (portfolio). Go Daency team!
