A step-by-step guide to getting set up and ready to go on Daggle

To get the most out of your Daggle experience (real-time payments! zero transaction fees!) there are 3 main things you need to do.

1. Sign up!

When you click ‘sign up’ on the Daggle home page, you will get a super easy pop up that lets you sign up with Gmail, Facebook, or your email.

2. Setting your settings

Once you have created your account you’ll be directed the first time to your Settings page. This is where you can set and edit your personal details, location details, payment details, and security & verification details.

Personal info

All the usual details: name, email, phone number, photo…

Location info

Setting your location means allows you to automatically search for items in your neighbourhood. If you lend, you can also set the neighbourhoods to which you’d be happy to deliver your item — if that’s what you want to do.

Payments & subscriptions

This is where you can save your back up credit card. We need this before you can start borrowing, just in case your account falls below zero. We also use it to charge a dynamic monthly subscription fee when you start lending.

Security & verification

Not just where you can change your password. It’s also where you can increase your verification level. Everyone starts at Level 0 but by verifying your email, mobile number, ID, and proof of address you can level up all the way to Level 4.

With each higher level you can do more things, like borrow more expensive items, hold more funds in your account, or lend things. It also gives other users an important sense of safety when they lend or borrow something, to know that you have been verified to a high level.

Top tip: For the ID, please upload a copy of the front of your Emirates ID — it must match the name you have saved in your account. For proof of address, any third-party document that shows your name and the location where you live, such as a district cooling bill, bank statement, etc. If you have any issues here, feel free to email account@daggle.org.

That’s it! You can find out more about how to manage your Daggle balance and account with this post, like how to increase your funds, deposit, and withdraw.

And here is where you’ll find out how on earth Daggle makes any money if there are zero fees on transactions!

You’re all up and running on Daggle! We hope that was an easy process and that you enjoy the wonders of the real-time and sharing economies. Happy Daggling!
