Partnerships are at the core of our ecosystem, and with every new member, we inch one step closer to our goal of benevolent decentralized AI.

As such, we have been actively looking for new members for DAIA, and this week we are proud to welcome Consensus AI, DoubleNova Group and Kirik!

We interviewed members from these projects’ executive teams so we can give you an insider’s view about their goals and agendas:

Consensus AI

Built with the vision to improve the governance mechanisms inside organizations, Consensus AI is an open-sourced, decentralized artificial intelligence platform that aims to restructure processes in communities, startups, non-profits, enterprises, or even cities.

Once its main features are implemented, Consensus AI will offer automated, data-driven solutions to complex problems without requiring multi-functional teams for operations.

Their mission is to reach collective governance based on interdependence by using advanced technologies to achieve more cost-efficient, transparent and progressive processes.

Such processes are implemented not only through collective voting, but also with the help of powerful algorithms embedded in the blockchain, which are able to model outcomes regarding efficiency, budgetary concerns, or even environmental factors!

We believe that this kind of platform will allow an efficient collaboration between humans and AI, making it a good fit with DAIA.

Dustin Plett, Chief Security Office of Consensus AI, commented about joining DAIA:

“It’s important the community of people working on pushing AI solutions forward are aware of what others are working on. This community is growing and knowing where we can partner and support each other accelerates the whole industry.

Consensus AI believes our successful long term collective co-existence is going to be thanks to the use of artificial intelligence to help officials make rapid and accurate decisions and help the citizens of the world understand those decisions, and each other.”

DoubleNova Group

DoubleNova Group (DNG) a boutique management consultancy, is focused on blockchain within key sectors such as healthcare, cleantech, logistics, fintech and the public sector.

They advise big-tech companies, governments, and accelerators within the US and internationally with their expertise in emerging technologies such as deep tech (AI, ML, and IoT) and enterprise blockchain. DNG has over two decades of experience advising companies globally including the likes ofApple, Cisco and HP. Specifically, they provide services and programs including strategic advisory, ecosystem building, acceleration and corporate innovation.

These kinds of initiatives are welcomed in the decentralized AI community and DNG’s strong enterprise background will be an asset to the community.

From Radhika Iyengar-Emens and Jorden Woods, Managing Partners of DNG:

“We are excited to join DAIA because we are focused on the power of decentralization and its ability to create a more open and equitable world, particularly through enhanced data sharing, greater access to resources, and the democratization of commerce. DAIA is creating a much-needed community and driving force to promote the power of decentralized AI and blockchain.”

Regarding their plans for this year and their collaboration with DAIA, they emphasized:

“We are working on multiple simultaneous initiatives focused on decentralization of AI with blockchain in 2019. These initiatives include our forthcoming book focused on enterprise blockchain and real-world examples, a venture capital fund called StarChain Ventures focused on investing in the intersection of blockchain and DLTs with decentralized AI & IoT, and ecosystem building initiatives in Africa. With each of these initiatives we will promote DAIA and the benefits of a more technologically decentralized world.”

KIRIK

Able to bring together different Blockchain platforms and different AI and machine learning technologies, Kirik is a meta-protocol powered by semantic smart contracts. In other words, it makes digital smart contracts legally binding and operable in real economy markets just like traditional paper contracts.

This concept is based on semantic smart contracts which are not linked to any specific blockchain platform or distributed ledger. These contracts allow to individuals to specify protocols that can bind operations made in different decentralized platforms and other external systems, like banks or exchanges, into just one distributed transaction.

With Kirik, users can import a regular contract into their platform, which will be parsed and analyzed through a proprietary semantic modeling program thereafter returning a smart contract comprising a set of functions. But they are not just about the conversion of legal agreements from text to formulas, Kirik is an ambitious infrastructure project aimed to bring a revolution to the field of blockchain and smart contracts, and this is why we believe their values are aligned with DAIA.

In Eduard Dzhamgaryan’s words, (Chief Marketing Officer at Kirik):

“We are excited to join DAIA because we can collaborate with other AI projects and discuss the future of AI development. We can help each other to develop our projects, exchange the ideas and together develop the whole AI Industry.”

He also stated their plans for this year and how they plan the whole AI industry:

“We are developing the Semantic business-rule engine (including Free version) for development and management of projects, platforms, and systems of any complexity (including AI) significantly cheaper, faster, easier and more secure than before.

So we want to help the whole AI industry to move forward to the next generation and the possibilities that it will bring to the World.”

How can you get involved?

Our vision is to foster a world where AI technologies and associated data are made open with decentralized, democratic control for the benefit of all sentient beings.

The immense potential of AI means that it can either increase the inequalities of our societies or liberate us from numerous sufferings. We believe the best way forward is to come together and work practically toward creating a better future. We see a massive potential for evolution in the established centralized corporations. We believe tech giants can contribute immensely toward making the vision of DAIA a reality.

We are welcoming the participation of those corporations that are sincere about their aim and goal of democratizing AI. The open access networks that have come together to form DAIA, such as Consensus, Double Nova Group and Kirik are the enabling layer for such a democratization process.
