San Francisco, California — January 8, 2019 — The Decentralized AI Alliance (DAIA), an alliance that brings together organizations advancing Decentralized AI, is announcing that Decentralized Machine Learning, Neureal, and Daneel are some of the first to have joined as members.

DAIA is founded on the belief that the present and future of AI and humanity will benefit from decentralized and widely participatory control of these developments. The organization was founded in 2018 by Dr. Ben Goertzel and Simone Giacomelli of SingularityNET and Toufi Saliba of Toda.Network. It was announced at the inaugural AiDecentralized conference in the summer of 2018.

“We founded the Decentralized AI Alliance with a goal of pulling together the various projects building systems at the intersection of AI and blockchain, so as to pursue shared goals in a collaborative way. DAIA will articulate and maintain standards for interaction between different decentralized AI networks while assisting decentralized AI projects with media, fundraising, and legal issues. It will also foster collaborative software design and development work on tools that are useful for the projects,” said Goertzel.

Wil Bown, Founder and Chief Architect of Neureal, a non-profit foundation developing open-source technology designed to forecast the future, said:

“I decided 6 years ago that I was going to try my best to contribute to the creation of these exponential technologies that will transform our world. I founded a small community with the Neureal project, and In DAIA, I feel like we have now found an even greater worldwide community of like-minded thinkers and doers.”

DAIA recognizes that different organizations operating in the decentralized AI space share many critical interests and needs, be they technical, conceptual, legal, financial or community-driven.

“DAIA is a fantastic opportunity to get in touch with our colleagues in the AI sector. We believe that AI will have a central place in this new decentralized world,” added Harold Kinet, Communications Director for Daneel. “By 2019, we hope to have built a solid AI and blockchain network, which allows us to address the challenges that await us not only in terms of development but also in terms of scalability.”

Daneel’s technology gathers information from media, social networks, and forums while analyzing user trends and feelings to generate data that is used to provide the user with better information about cryptocurrencies.

Michael Kwok, Project Lead for Decentralized Machine Learning (DML), which builds on-device machine learning infrastructure, allowing business users to get market insights from data owners without compromising their privacy also commented:

“We believe the development of deep learning and supervised learning will have a significant boom in the next few years and with our network and experience, we expect we can act as a bridge and connector between the technical and real-world adoption for DAIA.”

DAIA is currently signing and onboarding a wide cross-section of respected AI professionals and organizations with the goal of broadening participation in decentralized AI in order to create the best outcomes for humanity.

About DAIA

The Decentralized AI Alliance (DAIA) was created to foster a world where AI technology and the associated data are made open, with decentralized and democratic control for the benefit of all sentient beings. The immense potential of AI means that it can either increase the inequalities of society or liberate us from suffering. DAIA is founded on the belief that the best way forward is to come together and work pragmatically toward the creation of a better future. There is massive potential for evolution in established, centralized corporations, and these tech giants can contribute immensely toward accelerating the vision of DAIA. DAIA welcomes the participation of those corporations that are sincere about their aim and goal of democratizing AI. Learn more: DAIA.Foundation

About Decentralized Machine Learning (DML)

Decentralized Machine Learning (DML) is a complete infrastructure facilitated for on-device machine learning. By blockchain and federated learning technologies, it decentralized the three integral elements in machine learning, which are data, processing power and algorithms. Without extraction of private data and thus protecting data owners’ privacy inherently, DML unleashes the untapped data usage in individual smart devices (smartphones, tablets, PC and IoT sensors) for various business intelligence, market insights and sentiment predictions consumed by different commercial and organizational clients. DML will use the idle processing power of individual devices for machine learning through a mobile application, and the machine learning algorithms will be crowdsourced in a digital marketplace. About Neureal

Neureal is the first decentralized protocol producing a distributed artificial intelligence architecture using blockchain technology. The Neureal Network allows idle computing power to be commoditized and put to use analyzing big data and predicting the future, while rewarding miners for the accuracy of their predictions. The architecture is capable of forecasting a heart attack accurately enough to save a life; forecasting a hurricane accurately enough to move vulnerable people out of harm’s way, forecasting traffic and human patterns accurately enough for companies like Lyft to adjust actions and add to their bottom line. From complicated to simple, Neureal’s impact is far-reaching. Learn more: Neureal.net

About Daneel

Daneel Assistant provides unchallenged news curation and market sentiment analyses through an A.I. assistant, which understands natural language. It is enhanced by the reference of the market in the fields of natural language and emotion analysis: Watson, designed by IBM. Daneel makes the world of cryptos even more accessible to beginners through its learning program. Some of the features that Daneel provides: news curation, market sentiment, market trends, and education. Learn more: Daneel.io
