Just like their Samoan namesake, these cookies are chewy and rich!

It’s the season for Girl Scout Cookies!

The latest crop from Northern Emeralds of Humboldt County just descended on the Harvest on Geary dispensary in San Francisco.

Was it just a coincidence that a girl scout had set up with her mom just down the street? Maybe not…but I couldn’t resist the temptation to unite these Northern Emeralds and their namesake.

This cannabis bud’s orange pistils and white trichome covered leaves are a dead ringer for their delightful caramel and coconut namesake.

A gram cost me $20, including the tax on recreational cannabis. The guy who helped me check out was generous and threw in the branded lighter I’d asked to buy, on account I was a new customer.

I’ll be on the lookout for Girl Scout Cookies from Northern Emeralds in the future. They were incredibly sticky and smoked with a subtle flavor.

Stay tuned for more.
