“… in union with the Messiah and through the Good News the Gentiles were to be joint heirs, a joint body and joint sharers with the Jews in what God has promised.”

Another clear rebuke of replacement theology and also, two-house theories (the belief that God has a different plan of salvation for the Jews that is separate from the Gospel for the Gentiles). Rav Sha’ul [Paul], in explaining his calling, describes how God always intended, but had not previously revealed [see: progressive revelation], that the Messiah would be the plan of salvation not just for the Jews, but also for the Gentiles, and (this is the important part), that the Jews and Gentiles would be sharers in a single plan. It is also important to recognize that the one chosen to share this revelation with mankind is a Jew, a very learned scholar of Torah and a dual citizen. Clearly the Sect of the Nazarene was never meant to be a “religion devoid of Jews,” and it’s sad that a rift has persisted for so long between Jews and Gentiles, and that in our modern times, Jewish leadership is still lacking among God’s kingdom. I hope that in the near future, people will abandon deceptions like replacement theology and two-house theories and we will witness Messianic Jews and Gentiles embracing the unity that God always intended for us.
