The Peace at the End of the Day

The Perfect Spot,
sun falling towards the rocky shore

The orange glow to the sky,
waves shimmering with golden specks

The warmth slipping from my face,
As she vanishes behind the rocks

Everything pauses for a moment
As we say our farewells again
