#271. I don’t want to be a millennial anymore.
I don’t want to feel hated because of the time I was born.
I don’t want to be treated like I’m lazy, because I am a millennial.
I don’t want to feel like nothing I do will be as good as my predecessors.
I don’t want to feel that my smartphone is a disease.
I don’t want to feel like technology is ruining my life.
I don’t want to be judged just because I am a millennial.
Since when did being a millennial become a derogatory word?
When did being a millennial become synonymous with laziness, narcissism, and an inability to focus?
“Millennials are the worst generation. They’re lazy, unmotivated, disconnected and they want a trophy for every little thing they do.”
I know people that say things like that or closed-minded but I’m sick of hearing it.
I’m sick of being part of the worst generation. I’m tired of my elders looking down on me because I am young. I know every generation deals with the same problem, but that’s no excuse. My generation has our faults, just like every other generation, but we’re no worse than any other generation. So why must our elders put us down because of our birth year? It’s an outrageous tradition that must stop!
