#324. If being normal is not working, don’t be normal

This might be the most simple thing I have ever written, but it is important.

What do you normally do?

How do you normally work?

How do you normally approach your life?

Is the way you normally live working for you? Are you as successful as you want to be right now? Do you think you’re on the right track. If so, stay the course and you’ll get there. If not, the only option is to change what you would normally do?

If you’re trying to have a successful business but you keep insulting potential customers, you should change.

If you’re trying to be a better writer, but you never write, then start writing.

If you’re trying to lose weight and you normally binge eat when you’re bored, you should stop.

If you’re trying to move up in your job but you haven’t performed well, you should start performing.

Let’s keep this simple. Whatever you’re doing that’s hurting you, do the opposite!

All of this is so much easier said than done. Anyone can say that you have to change when things aren’t going your way. It’s a simple concept.

What isn’t simple is actually putting in the work. Changing is one of the hardest thing a human will ever have to do. No one but you will be accountable for you changing. You can have all the help in the world, but the only thing that can truly save you from yourself is you.
