#344. I have a zero inbox, I’m not more productive.

Recently I cleaned out my email inbox. I was tired of seeing 2,000+ unread emails waiting in my inbox. I went through all of them and archived the ones I might need later.

Having zero emails in your inbox doesn’t make you any more productive. Email is a big part of our world today, but people should visit their inbox twice a day. We should check our inboxes once in the morning(or before we start our work) and once at night(or after we finish our work).

Having zero emails in your inbox is nothing if your inbox isn’t organized. Your inbox should serve two purposes: to collect information and send out information. Have your inbox organized so you can complete the objective. Then move on to bigger things.
