#392. When the blue skies turn grey, who are you?

I don’t know about you, but I love a clear blue sky and tons of sun. I live in the desert, so I get my wish most days. But you can’t always have always have a blue sky. When the blue sky fades to grey, you find out who you really are.

If you pay attention, you can see a storm coming from a mile away. Clouds form in the sky. They start to get heavy. All of a sudden, the colors of the cloud change from white to grey. Those clouds start to cover the entire sky, sometimes even the sky. Suddenly, the once clear blue sky turns cloudy and grey.

When that happens, the storm is around the corner. Rain will come sooner or later. Thunder and lightning may even show up for the encore.

It’s easy to get to your destination when the sky is clear. But when the sky is dark, the rain is pouring and the lightning is striking, people get scared. Do you have the courage to make it to your destination? The lightning might just hit you. And some people don’t get up when they get hit. Is that a risk you’re willing to take?

If not, just sit back on your couch and wait for the storm to pass. Wait for the successful to claim their spots in history. Then maybe you can scratch out a living and survive.
