#394. I have no idea what I’m doing

Guess what?

I’m clueless.

I’ve learned a lot since I started on Medium 2 Decembers ago. But I still have no idea what I’m doing.

I have a thought of what I should be doing. But I don’t know if it actually works. I don’t know if what I’m doing will translate to any results. I know that what I’m doing right now is translating to the results that I already have. I have no complaints about my current “status” on Medium, how many views, reads, and likes I get, but what will it take for me to get more?

Is it actually a problem with the content?

Are the readers just not seeing my work in the first place?

Should I be writing for more publications than just my own?

Should I be posting more than 7 times in a week?

Are any of the changes I make going to make readers read my work less?

I. Have. No. Idea.

But I’m going to figure it out.

The answer won’t just be given to me. What worked for someone else might not work for me. The only way I’ll know how to really have a larger and more loyal audience is if I try it.

Stay tuned.
