On January 1, 2017 I started creating a doodle each day using an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and Procreate (mostly) trying to spend no more than 15 minutes per doodle each day. Why? The main reason was that I spent $100 in 2016 to buy an Apple Pencil and had never really used it for anything. I wanted to feel like I got my money’s worth from that purchase.

This DailyDoodlers blog is about doodling. If you want to share a doodle, please feel free to do so.

Most of my doodles are created using the Procreate app. However, I also spent an entire month using Tayasui Sketches Pro while waiting for Procreate to patch its app so it would stop crashing. Sketches Pro was a lot of fun to use. And, I’ll post some thoughts on it later. I also try doodling with other apps now and then. The doodle above was created using Adobe Sketch. My mini-review of it: I don’t like it as much as Procreate and Sketches Pro.

More doodling later…
