365 daily moments of 2016; Why and where it came from…

It all started with this post from John Saddington…his first VLOG commitment post. I read it yesterday and I thought he was crazy, as usual. Then I read his second day VLOG post and saw him fighting the same issues I have always had to keep up with regular “create” commitment and I started to liked it very very much.

Like many of you, I’ve always wanted to try something like this — annual side project. Not so complicated as video but writing or pics could do it. I simply like pics better than writing, they take less effort and speak thousand words, right ;)

Anyway, idea started forming about 365 daily moments of 2016. I’m thinking it was done many times by many, from office folks to professional photographers, so if they can keep it up, I can do that too and I’ll use John’s VLOG journey as inspiration.

I originally planned I could be just updating one post on Medium everyday with a picture and a few sentences, kind of “no hassle” platform for the story, but then I figured it will be more fun with other people and I created “publication here on Medium — Visual Stories 2016” and corresponding “FB page — Visual Stories 2016" and I hope you’ll join me so we can have more fun with everyday photos and little notes.
