With the ongoing growth of the platform, the increase of members amount to more readers, as well as more writers.
That means there will eventually be a bigger appetite in the community for short fiction stories.
Even some of the existing members who already write for Medium, are thinking more and more about trying their hand at fiction.
Lots of new members have previous writing experience on other websites, so they’re already used to writing internet articles and other non-fiction online content.
