This is absolutely crazy!
In case you’re wondering what the rest of the question is, and what’s so darn crazy:
👉 How many of you will CLICK on this story, even though you have no idea what the hell it’s about?
👉 This is absolutely crazy that some people are really that curious — or nosy!
Don’t feel bad, you’re not alone. It’s human nature.
📌 I know you’re probably annoyed now, and feel like this was clickbait, but hold on before you go, and let me explain.
It really is an EXPERIMENT to try and determine something about most readers, and hopefully, to prove a point to a fellow writer that I had a recent discussion with.
📌 She stated that using questions in your titles is not a good or effective idea.
Of course, I did it in a respectful way, but I disagreed with her. Personally, I don’t feel like that’s the best writing advice about titles, even though some writers on Medium might actually agree.
In the comment that I left, I suggested that questions can serve to make the reader think, even before opening the story.
