How to Stop Waking Up Feeling Tired in the Morning!
Does this ever happen to you?
When you’re a busy and productive content creator, you sometimes have a tendency to stay up really late, and even pull all nighters, in an effort to finish working on a story, an article or even a book.
Naturally, under these circumstances, it’s not unusual to wake up and get out of bed feeling tired and beat.
But truth be told, whether you stay up all night, or you go to bed early enough to get plenty of sleep; lots of people still wake up on some mornings, feeling tired when they first crawl out of bed.
When this happens to me, I’m instantly annoyed when I ask myself aloud:
“How in the world can I be tired and I just got up?”
If this sounds familiar, then you‘ll be interested in what I eventually learned, to help me stop feeling this way.
I discovered how this feeling of morning fatigue, is simply a signal that your body is not getting enough rest. Perhaps the same thing is true for some of you.
Those of you who typically go to bed early, might be wondering how this could possibly apply to you.
It applies, because just because we go to sleep, doesn’t mean our bodies are necessarily getting rested.
Consider what you do before bed
What I’ve come to appreciate, is the fact that laying down and falling asleep is only part of the important formula for the best rest and having a healthy sleep routine.
Being able to fall asleep, and actually being able to rest, are not always one and the same.
Depending on what you do before you go to bed, you may or may not be getting an adequate amount of rest, even while you’re asleep.
It’s important to be mindful of what you do before going to bed, and also take care to avoid allowing heavy issues to be on your mind during the night.
Among the things that tend to linger in our thoughts are:
- Personal situations and problems
- World conditions and concerns
- Worries or issues related to family and friends
