If You Don’t Already Follow the News Here’s a GOODE Reason to Start!

There’s a very good reason that we all should be up on what’s happening in the news, because the news is what’s happening in the world.

Whether it’s local, national or global news, in the end, it still affects the world.

That doesn’t mean we want it crammed down our throats, right?

I get it. And sometimes I feel the very same way. But then I remember what happened in Los Angeles in 1992.

That was the year that the “L.A. uprising” took place, and I happened to be living in the middle of it.

As you can recall or notice from the photo, Los Angeles was in flames on Thursday, April 30th.

But what was I doing earlier that day, completely oblivious to just how hostile the climate of the day had gotten?

I was preparing to go out dancing that night, because the following day was my birthday.
