My EZ Method for Keeping New Projects on Track
Do you know what productive people do to stay focused?
I don’t mind confessing to readers, about all the terrible habits and self defeating attitudes I once used to find myself guilty of having.
That was long before I became the highly productive writer that I am now, who doesn’t have the same battle with distraction.
I’ve been able to be as prolific as I am, thanks to turning negative situations around, and finding the positive aspect in them.
Over the years, thankfully, I’ve managed to build up just the right defense mechanisms to help me combat negative thinking for prolonged periods.
That doesn’t mean I can’t remember how it was once upon a time, for me to be able to stay on task.
I’ve started lots of projects before on Medium, only to stop abruptly, due to one reason or another.
Once the initial thrill and excitement of a “good idea” wears off, it’s easy to start to forget what you’re working towards, particularly if the rewards and benefits are not forthcoming.
There are so many things to get distracted by online, that sometimes we’re like kids in a candy store.
