Well Medium family, we all knew something BIG was coming, but we had no idea what it would be.

For the past few months, many of us writers on Medium have been discussing the possibility of upcoming changes.

The evidence that something new is on the horizon, is always easy for some of us to recognize.

Lots of us older members have lived through change after change on this constantly evolving website.

In the process, we’ve managed to get through what turns out to be bad policy changes (from some perspectives), and also take advantage of beneficial changes to the platform.
