Day 41: Pluto’s orbit

This one kinda found me, rather than the other way around, but I’m still counting it anyway. Hey, I did some research.

Pluto’s orbital period is equivalent to 90,560 Earth days, or almost exactly 248 Earth years.

Pluto was discovered in 1930, so that means it still hasn’t made its way around the Sun since we discovered it. That actually won’t even happen until 2178. Better throw it a first-observed-birthday party.

Bonus fact: Pluto has 5 moons. That was new to me! It’s still not techincally a planet though. Sorry, little guy.
