Number One - 3rd of January 2016
This is my first one.
I want to express gratitude to my sister who is three years younger than me and whom I haven’t been seeing much for the past two years.
This December, I was at home for 20 days. The last few days, when my mother was out of town, she made sure that my father and I didn’t starve, while also studying for her board exams (sometimes procrastinating; but hey who wouldn’t?).
So. Dear sister. Dear Meghana. I want to express my gratitude to you. I don’t know why, but I have always wanted to present a calm, unemotional demeanor in front of you. None of that lovey-dovey, sniffle-sniffle stuff. “Eww! No, I can’t do that!”, is my almost-involuntary mental response to such things. This gratitude would fall into that bucket of discomforting emotional things.
Lots of love,
Your brother Ganesh
