Ocean, Moon and Nectar

Remember your favorite Sarat Chandra story? When the dad of the honest, trusting boy tells the mom that his gullible son should take the reins of business . . . at least he won’t cheat others, even if he is cheated a 1000 times?

So its okay . . . let people do what their conscience asks them to, its their journey.

At least you were not dishonest.

And yes, trust again, and again, and again . . . till the Universe yields to your Taurean ‘foolhardy’ belief that honesty is the only thing you would bring to the table no matter what comes your way . . . and eventually you will be washed with the nectar of life . . . it has to be that way . . .

The only exam that you ever need to pass is the mirror test . . . its okay if the reflection is of naivety . . . there are no prizes to be the conniving bahu of the mega-serial. And if there is one, you don’t need that trophy. Be happy being the supreme idiot who is fooled repeatedly . . . some day the tomfoolery will stop . . . it has to. No options.

You are not the victim, just the eternal optimist . . . the moon will rise and wash away the darkness with its golden shimmer . . . and the ocean will look beautiful as you drink in its beauty . . . cheers to that!
