Today I am Grateful for Life

Sunny day I go to office in my scooter. I started late from my house and got caught in traffic. I realize that I have pending work to submit and I am getting late. Traffic getting worse and I am sweating profusely. Blaring horns deafened my ear and the dust drowned me. The heat made my head spin as I wiggled my way to a nearby tree on the other side of the road. Under the shade I got my breath back and my head cooled off. The mild breeze chilled my sweat and the chirping birds made me forget everything else. I removed my laptop bag from my aching shoulders and sat under the tree. I rested my eyes for a while and went back to work. I am thankful for life.
