Since 2015, I regularly follow Facebook groups where new job offers are posted. Before that, most of the Bangladeshi companies used to post their job circular in bdjobs.com. Slowly, ‘Vacancy Announcement’, ‘CSE/EEE jobs’ and other Facebook groups got the popularity to get new job circulars. Many people tags their friends in the comment section if that job requirements matches with their friends qualifications. However, some others complains, mock and even attacks the company which has posted the job circular.

You may ask ‘why?’ if you don’t go through the group posts comment section. As you know there are a lot Bangladeshi young graduates don’t have a good job or even don’t have any job after completing their graduation. I wouldn’t say all of them have qualification to fight in a good position but their depression forces them to give-up and post comments in such way.

Many startup companies seek new employees throughout providing circular in these job related Facebook groups. They wants an entry level employee with lot of skill-sets which hardly can be fulfilled by a experienced mid level employee. Moreover, they offer a very low salary which is 15k-20k. Sometimes, some of companies offer less. Specially tech startups offer very low salary and most of these companies do not have a good environment, not have senior supervisor or mentor and do not have a good manager who understands or have some ideas about the related technologies. This bad culture actually kills the good possibility to groom a graduate to improve in their field!
