How to retain good talent?
The only way to keep good talent is communication. You just gotta know. Tyler has great talent, he’s really talented, & all you need to do is make them feel safe to ask for more challenges more money different opportunities, if he see’s vaynertalent people traveling a lot and wants too…right now hes happy about doing my content, but maybe he wants to change…you just have to communicate…
Life changes up’s and down’s, ebs & flows what you have to do is if you have great talent you have to remind them on a macro the value you’re actually bringing because patience can become an issue, real fast…
The reason it’s working is because people are starting to see the different career paths within the org’ if they buy into that patience, but it just comes down to communication & being able to deliver.
The problem is, most of you don’t want to ask the talent what they want because you don’t want to give it to them.
The key to retaining talent is not only asking, its being able to deliver on what they want & having the humility, & the honor & the empathy to let the bird fly if you’re not able to feed it…
How to conquer the Fear of failure?
It comes down to the individual. Fear tends to be predicated on caring about what other people think, & or your own self esteem or your own self worth…Genuinely loving yourself, & not caring what other people say, while still being appreciative & empathetic, taking everything people say into account, it leaves one capable of being fearless.
How does a person remain motivated?

One must stay motivated through gratitude. Its the secret drug. Its the gateway drug…
People don’t realize what purity of utter happiness looks like & when you are grateful that leads to motivation, that leads to the hyper nature , of course there are certain chemicals at play that give one more energy than others but gratitude is absolutely the beast that drives most winners. That’s why they try to squeeze every single thing they can out of life because they know its the only one we have.
DELEGATION
When you genuinely know that most things don’t matter, & you carry a lack of ego, it gives most the ability to properly delegate.
Those who struggle with delegating tend ta do so from an egotistical standpoint.
They don’t deploy enough humility & are actually micro managing out of their own insecurities.
Its very easy to delegate when you trust people.
Trusting them up front & making that trust hard to lose, it can allow one to go fast, it can allow you to scale… Its a differentiator & when properly executed, one can’t be crippled by anything in giving others the room to maneuver.
It has a lot to do with ego & insecurities.
By doing 97 things, having 97 people helping & they’re all ranging from, (with 10.0 being perfect execution) a 4.2 to a 9.7 is a helluva lot better than doing 1 or 2 things @ 10.0 , its a net score game.
Its wiring… its strategy…
& as people prove that they can do 9.2 or 8.7 work, you move them up, & if they prove that they can do 11.0 work, then you remind them that maybe they should be doing something for themselves…” best of #garyvee
