Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported this publication in any way. Nothing is possible without you 🤗.

A year or so into maintaining this publication, I have gained and learned so much from this amazing community that I want to continue giving back.

There are now thousands of you visiting this publication daily, learning, engaging and sharing insights about the most interesting and important topics and aspects of artificial intelligence. We have crossed many milestones but there so many more exciting ones ahead. We are just getting started!

When I started dair.ai I had no idea what it could become or what it was going to represent for this community. Today, this publication is being read by at least one person every minute. Our content is being shared all over the internet and we have thousands of people flooding this publication every single day to learn and be informed about the recent trends in AI. Even though those numbers are mind-blowing, it takes a lot of hard work to research and keep publishing current and useful information in a responsible and clear way. I take pride in doing so. There is no rush as they are so many opportunities but we want to make sure we do things right, from the start. On that note, here is some good news:

We have launched 🚀 the official dair.ai website.

The mission of dair.ai is to create an open platform and community to help democratize AI research, technologies, and education. To take a step towards this important mission, we have launched the official dair.ai website. The website is meant to keep everyone around the world informed about the works and directions of dair.ai. I am aware that Medium is not the most reliable platform and in fact, it is unfortunately not even accessible in some places around the world. So my hope is that the new website will help with accessibility and visibility of all projects and content published under dair.ai.

Until we figure out a better solution, the plan is to still keep this Medium publication as there are many of you that still prefer this medium. All of the new projects and content will be published here and reposted on the official website. Better integration is coming so keep an eye out for that.

I am really excited about the months ahead. There are a lot of projects in the pipeline that will be gradually released.

I am definitely seeking volunteers to help with communicating, writing, researching, working on and leading projects, content development, website maintenance, and so much more. There is a lot of work to be done and if you are interested to collaborate on something big and exciting, please feel free to reach out. As I have said before, this a community effort the way I see it.

Best,

Elvis Saravia (Editor at dair.ai)
