City of Dallas to host 4 pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics this weekend

DALLAS — The City will host four pop-up vaccination clinics this weekend, Mayor Eric Johnson announced Thursday.

The pop-up clinics will offer doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. No appointment is necessary. Here are the locations and times:

  • May 7–8: Galleria Dallas (Ice Rink Level), 13350 Dallas Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75240–10 a.m.-7 p.m.

The City’s vaccination hub at The Potter’s House also remains open with no appointment needed. And the City is continuing its in-home vaccination program to reach homebound residents. To schedule an in-home vaccination, residents can email mobilevaccine@dallascityhall.com.

In addition, Mayor Johnson is partnering with private organizations to distribute their vaccine allocations through the Mayor’s Neighborhood Vaccine Initiative. Currently, vaccines are being distributed through the initiative at Friendship West Baptist Church, located at 2020 W. Wheatland Road, Dallas, TX 75232, and at MCI Diagnostic Center at 9728 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.

“We remain committed to developing and adopting new strategies to ensure all the people of Dallas have the opportunity to receive a lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine,” Mayor Johnson said. “These vaccines are safe and effective, and I am imploring our residents to stop waiting if they have not yet received the vaccine. We must inoculate as many people as possible to achieve community immunity so that we can put an end this pandemic.”
